Hear. I am telling the last story.

Hear. My unstructured voice in time.

“Right now” is the past. “Future” does not exist. “Sharing” is fake.

There is only a moment, never eternity

A flow just goes from here to there

I am still who I am. “You” remains you

Never overlapping; never repeating; never in parallel

Living in each own’s respective time and space – repeated and tedious

A start marked by consolidating scattered memories, an end marked by our encounter.

Hear. This is me, but not me.

Hear. Oh. It has passed.

Hear. This is me, but not me.

Hear. Oh. It has passed.

Does time remain as evidence? There’s a start and an end

‘Start and end’ seem to be co-dependent entities. If there is no start or end to the universe, everything is just an emotional projection of human kind, isn’t it? If time does not flow, who can be sure about what ‘being’ is yesterday, present and future. Perhaps when time is absent, ‘being’ can still be measured by number of inhalations and exhalations, the fundamental evidence of living.

Hear – a gentle exhalation; composed by – a casual inhalation. The former is presented weakly to it being almost soundless, but between ‘being’s, there exists no comparison of what is ‘more realistic’. ‘Being’s co-exist in space and time that are entirely distinct. They never come in contact, yet they change each other. Every moment is eternalised. Every moment happens independently, just like the breathing of ‘being’s – as natural as nature.

Let breathing be thy witness. Action follows.

A real-time camera captures how air leaks from the balloon. A microphone placed next to the balloon’s mouth records its sound, and is relayed to the audience. This demonstrates the process and last words of a dying readymade object.

Neon tubes (words) are located on the wall behind balloons. When the balloons completely die (all air leaked), words are no longer covered by the balloons. Words do not rely on a secondary medium (light) to express. From blurred to clear, to an exposed, uncovered naked truth. One dies, one lives. The process is determined by time. The mild discrepancy between live image and sound, the gap as it transmits through optic nerves and the actual process of balloon fading away – the time gap across the three can only be filled by audience’s imagination and emotions.
