We are alone but we are not lonely
ALONE
LONE
LONELY
We are not alone but we are lonely
Words – Losing their significance as form is given
Balloons – Floating, drifting, deflating as gas runs out
Loneliness – Rushing headlong into holes as fear takes over
Solitude – Satisfied as the dust settles and clarifies
“At times, the thoughts, bursting to the seams as we rest in solitude, can also burst in an instant as the balloon ruptures. All that is remains is an excess of desolation.”
(Chiang Hsun, 2007)
